What is the title of the book (fiction) you are currently reading (or the last fiction book you read)?
'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', I'm ashamed to say, was the last fiction book I read before the films caught up with me and I resorted to just watching those instead. Even though I thought the films never did the books justice, however that wasn't enough for me to pick up the books and start reading again.
What is the Title/topic of the book (non-fiction) you are currently reading (or the last non fiction book you read)?
'Leonardo's Machines: Da Vinci's Inventions Revealed' by Domenico Laurenza was my last non-fiction read. I tend not to read anything of a non-fictional nature however this I couldn't put down. It was also pretty fascinating to see some of Da Vinci's designs and ideas actualised into virtual 3D models, the majority of the models reminded me of things you would see in the old Myst games for the PC, which I think was partially the reason it kept me interested...
What is the last live performance (music, drama or dance) you attended?
Download Festival earlier this year in June was the last significant musical event I attended. Seeing Brian Johnson swing on a giant bell (presumably one that was meant to be from Hell) and Angus Young in his school boy shorts playing Hells Bells was a priceless experience for me. It was also quite nice to be cut off from computers and technology in general for a week, however I did manage to take a quick peek inside the EA tent from time to time...
What is the title of the last film you saw at the cinema/online or watched on DVD?
'The Other Guys' with Will Ferrel. Which was terrible. There's really not much I can say about it other than it wasn't worth the £6.50 I paid to get in to see it and I'll probably never go an see another Will Ferrel film again. Unless it's free. Or I get paid to go and see it.
How often do you read the newspaper? (which one)
I rarely read the newspaper, if anything I'll pick up The Mirror for the sports section at the back to read about Chelsea's win over the weekend, however that's about it.
Which Art Gallery/museum/exhibition did you last visit?
The Anish Kapoor Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts was the last exhibition I went to. It was fun actually, a lot of the pieces there were interactive and allowed the public to move in and out between them, I think the theme of the exhibition was manipulating space so this helped. Even though there was a few pieces that I didn't understand, just being able to interact with his work made the experience enjoyable anyway.
How many hours a week do you spend playing video games?
Probably around 30 on average. The majority of that will be spent on Xbox 360, especially recently trying to finish Halo Reach on legendary difficulty, which is costing me too much time and also hair due to the amount of stress that it's putting me through. However after just getting an iPhone it's quite nice to be able to sit down with an app and just have a play with something a lot simpler and easy going.
How many hours a week do you spend playing games other than video games?
Around 1-2 hours, I play the odd game of Scrabble and Mastermind on occasions, which again is a lot less intense but just as enjoyable as 3-4 hour sessions on my Xbox 360.
